House Rules"

Do you have House Rules? If so, what are they? Does the concept work? Are you clear (in advance) about the consequences of breaking a House Rule?

Saw them mentioned in another post, and wondered if I should be more specific with dd about what is/isn't acceptable behaviour, and what is expected of her. We talk about setting boundaries for our children, and how important it is, so I wonder if I should formalise those boundaries by establishing some "House Rules".
