new baby first year what to do/expect book recommendations please....

we didn't have one for ds, don't know why! we just winged it minus flicking through the odd gina ford book and whining to fellow new mums, but this time round wouldn't mind having a bible of some sort to refer to in terms of development, ttd etc for the first year in particular....

so many books out there, but any super dooer recomendations? thanks!
