my 4 wk old baby, is barely sleeping, he wont settle in his crib for more than half hour, hour tops if i am lucky, so he is ending up co-sleeping with us at night, i am b/feeding him and he seems to feed all night long little by little, he seems happy enough, only really crying when he wants to be fed, he is easily comforted, but also he hasn't poo'd for about 3 days now, and although i have read that this can be normal with b/f babies, i am still getting a little worried, the co sleeping worries me too, but if i don't give in and sleep with him then i just don't get any sleep at all

Pretty normal.
I'd not worry about co-sleeping. It's only dangerous if you are drinking or taking drugs and it's a great way for everyone to get some rest.

Fairly normal IMO too. The co-sleeping thing depends on you really. If you really want to get him used to sleeping in his own bed then you will just have to keep getting up until he starts sleeping better. If you don't mind him in with you then fine- most people I know who have done this the LO's have been sleeping in their own bed's again by 3-6months.

Personally, I can not tolerate a baby or child in my bed- I can not get any sleep whatsoever! My dd2 was in our bed for about 2 nights, then one night in her carry cot on the floor, then in her own room. The other 2 never slept in our bed- I must've got softer by no.3!

My baby was breast fed and sometimes didn't poo for 8 days at a time. This is because the wonderful milk you are making is perfect for his needs so there is very little waste, so don't worry there. I also co-clept and fed almost continuously through the night for 6 months - it's a special time but knackering. I got out of it by hiring a sleep guru who I found at a baby fair. She got DD sleeping in her own cot, without being fed to sleep within 9 minutes and sleeping through in 2 days (DD was 6 months by now, but guru claims to be able to do it by 7-9 weeks). She stayed with us, but also does phone consultations. I know how desperate things can get when in your situation. If you want sleep gugrs details, let me know and I will forward them onto you. Good luck!

This does sound pretty normal to me.
I'd mention the pooing to my HV just for some extra comfort.
Have you tries swaddling him? It might help him sleep for longer and on his own.
