Night light for breastfeeding

Can anyone recommend a night light for breastfeeding please? Baby is due in July. Someone has already bought me the gro egg room thermometer one, but I wasn't sure if I needed another light too!

I’ve used fairy lights in the past, red ones are supposed to be good too as they don’t interfere with your sleep although not sure if they would be bright enough in the early days when you need to concentrate a bit more with latching etc

We have these - one in ceiling light in nursery and one in bedside table lamp which stays on all night. They work by flicking the switch once for the dimmed light and twice for the normal bulb light. We use LED plug in lights like this for our DC and wouldn't be without them! They were great for night feeding without too much light. HTH xx

I had a gro one that you put onto your normal light and could swap between night light and normal bulb. Loved it! You could also dim the night light of you just wanted a tiny bit of light.

Himalayan salt lamp! Gives a lovely glow, didn’t wake the husband and I still use it post breast feeding.

I use a bulb intended for reptile vivaria in a stained glass lamp... Odd, but it works! It's just the right level of light.

We used a salt lamp, lovely warm glow.
We ended up buying another for my eldest bedroom as she loved it too.

I bought a plug with a dimmer switch on and plugged in my normal lamp. It meant I could adjust it to exactly the light levels I wanted.

Hatch rest. You can program the color and brightness from your phone. Also does white noise, and later when they need it can be set to change color to indicate morning.

I used a camping light we had hanging around. It had two settings and a red one, so could see what I was doing but kept the room v dim. And I could move it round as it was led and you just recharged it.

Another vote for the salt lamp! When she was first born I left it on all night because I woke up a lot to check on her and it comforted me. Very gentle glow, when she moves into her nursery it will go with her

Well done for thinking about this in advance. Didn’t even occur to me! I use the Phillips Lumie sunrise lamp thing, which I had anyway - what’s great is it’s dimmable. I do cover it with a pink muslin though. A proper red wavelength bulb would be better.
