Hoping someone can relate and offer their thoughts as I’m going crazy...
DD now 20 weeks, been through the hoops since 1 week old... ‘colic’, reflux... gaviscon; omeprazole... then peadiatrician thought CMPA so now on a hydrolysed formula.
However - 4 weeks into new milk, things feel like they’ve gone backwards. Initially she was a different baby, and after a feeding aversion we were thrilled she was finally drinking again! But now / fussy as anything again, cries all the time, constantly uncomfortable, legs always in the air still, and has recently taken to actually SCREAMING the house down now her lungs are bigger
I’m a) so frustrated and feel totally trapped and b) concerned that there might be something more to this. Behavioural, perhaps? Or something more than ‘just reflux’. As if it was, surely the combination of omeprazole and special formula would work?!
I should add - she regurgitates quite a bit now. Rarely used to, we was always silent reflux, but for last month + she’s been regurgitating too. It just feels like we’re spiralling and no one can seem to help us!
Xx
