Toddler will only poo on the potty

I’ve been potty training my daughter for a while now, she is 2 and a half and I’ve been taking it quite slowly as I don’t want to rush her. She will do all of her poos on the potty and tell me when she needs to go, I can’t remember the last time she had a poo accident. But she will not do any wees on the potty unless I tell her to. If I ask her if she needs a wee she will say no every time and if I leave her to it she will quite happily just wee on the floor. I have to say to her “can you have a try on the potty for me, it doesn’t matter if you don’t do anything”. She just isn’t bothered about being wet at all! I feel like normally toddlers find it easier to wee on the potty rather than poo so I find it hard to find any advice. Any advice anyone? TIA

2.5 is still quite young to be fully dry. My DD was similar - got the hang of pooing quickly but need regular requests to sit on the potty for wees. It's OK just keep doing what your doing.
Is she dry over night in her nappy - that's the big result

My DD was like this until she one day she watched a friend poo on the toilet. It wasn’t planned but it did the job.

Looking back she was fine with child size seats just not big toilets. Do you have an insert a seat and a step.

Sorry I completely misread your OP.

DPotter that’s good to hear your daughter was the same. I will just keep persevering then, just feel like I’m doing something wrong sometimes! She is occasionally dry over night but usually there is some wee in there.
Thanks for your help!
