Baby socks that stay on?

Have had good luck with gap roll top socks with my son but they only seem to sell in toddler size and not for younger babies.
I have bought mainly footless rompers for this one as my son was so long he grew out of footie ones too quickly!

Any one tried the “little sock company”

I like to buy all matching socks so I don’t have to bother pairing them up!

I swore by sock ons when mine were little. You slip them over normal socks to hold them in place. X

Yes to sock ons but as they're a fairly tight fit, I didn't want to use them all the time as babies' foot bones are so soft and I was worried they might not be good for them.

I mainly used booties instead of socks. Either knitted ones or this style of soft cord bootie

I've always bought a size or two up so they go all the way to his knees and are impossible to get off!

way too much faff. i put bigger socks on my baby (#2 so i've got all the sock sizes already) and fold the cuff over. they stay put beautifully.

In a couple of months, tights.
Until then, barefooted.
Socks and small people dont mix!!

Sock ons!

We used sock-ons when she wore socks but most of the time it was easier just to keep her in sleepsuits. By six months or so she could keep socks on by herself.

Another sock ons fan here!

They don't exist. I used sock ons when required but then with two and a small age gap - the older one used to just remove the baby's socks anyway!

Sock ons or knee high socks under clothes.

Tights. Even for ds (inherited from Dd1 then passed to dd2). Especially as I lived rurally and used a backpack a lot, stopped the sock/trouser gap.

Sock ons until they're old enough to remove those too. One of my daughters main aims in life was sock removal.... Once she could toddle it was shoe removal. Sock ons definitely work when they're little

I’ve got sock ons, wasn’t as fussed on them as everyone seems to be! Just more things to lose!

I wish I could get the gap socks in little sizes!

You don't need socks in July! Just enjoy having a summer baby and being able to leave them sock less without the judgy looks you will get in January...

Why can't you get Gap socks in little sizes? I had some in 0-6 months.

@TooMinty baby isn’t due until October ...

@BertieBotts they don’t have any for sale with the roll tops. They are called “toddler socks” now

Ah, sorry! In that case I'd get plenty of sleep suits with feet. And tights for either girl or boy. I have had two winter babies and gave up on socks pretty quickly.

The little sick Co are wonderful! The sizes do run big, but they manage to stay on without being too tight.
They are very good quality as well which makes up for the price. My son is now 1 and we still use them.
