Just that really - what is this that has spread over DD's knees? (Was originally on backs of hands)
It is itchy, she hasn't had any new foods etc
Does anyone have any idea?
Thanks!

Has she been out in the garden and kneeling? Could be an allergic reaction to pollen hence hand and knees resting. Try an antihistamine and washing hands as soon as she comes in.

Does it go with antihistamines? How long has it been there? Could be molluscum as my children had it and went but came up elsewhere

Thanks for your replies, just went to the chemist and asked the pharmacist to have a look - she wasn't sure but seemed to think it was a reaction to something rather than eczema etc and gave me a hydrocortisone cream. Thanks again for your replies!

It looks like an allergy rash to me - has she been playing on pollinating grass? Try giving some antihistamines?

Impetigo (sp) in severe cases can look like that did on my dd twice. The treatment was anti histamine

I’d say allergy rash... I had an allergic reaction to penicillin recently and it looked exactly like that

I just had a further telephone GP appointment who suggested possibly eczema- it doesnt look like eczema does it?
Do you think it's ok to give infant piriton in case its a reaction?

Yep - give the piriton. You'll know soon enough if it's a reaction.

My 2 year old dd also had something like this once. Try rubbing some baby powder on- that seemed to help for us.
