Is it normal for 2yr old (just) to still be chewing everything in sight

Just wondering as DS hasn't seemed to have grown out of the want to chew everything. So, remote controls, blankets, clothes, whatever he can get his hands on. He has all his teeth so it's not teething. If he hasn't got an object he chews his hands

Yes totally normally! Not all kids do it, but it's the way lots of toddlers explore the world.

My nephew has just been to the GP at the insistence of nursery, he is also 2. The nursery staff said it was a sign of a deficiency, and after the GP did some bloods, was found to be severely anaemic.

Sorry, I meant the nursery staff insisted he was seen by his GP due to biting things, he managed to chew the entire length of a fence!
