Electric sit in car

I have seen these little sit in cars that baby/toddlers can sit in and the parent has control with a remote. And while I like the little idea of my DS in and Audi ( just a bit of fun). I don't know when I would actually use it. Has anyone bought one, and if so do they just get used in the garden or have you whizzed them to the shop in it ??

Our son had a jeep-style car, it was useful for us to have a remote control version as he's autistic and didn't understand about the pedal to power it (which is optional). We only ever used it in the garden, although I kept talking about running it up the road to the park at the end, never got round to it.

Now it's sitting gathering dust waiting for me to eBay it ... I'm in east Manchester if anybody wants to make me an offer! [probably against the rules, but what ho.]

DS2 had one, the BMW i8 one. He absolutely loved it until our nephew smashed it to bits during a tantrum. Angry
I loved the remote control aspect of it, it made it easy to use out and about (not on pavements or anything though)

My nieces had one, basically it could trundle very slowly from one side of the (small) patio to the other. It was pretty heavy, the battery life wasn’t very long and after the initial novelty wore off it rarely got used.

Personally I think something like a cosy coupe pedal car or a mini micro scooter is a far better long term toy.
