Amount of formula a day

So my son is 9 months in a couple of days, I'm certain he's thriving. He was a preemie at 4oz6 and now in 12-18month clothing! He has 3 meals a day, sometimes more than others- same as anyone 🤷🏼‍♀️ very balanced diet. He's now to between 12-17oz (lactose-free) formula a day. What do you think, is this a good amount?
Thanks!

Seems about right, at my DD's 10 month check the HV said she should be having between 15-20 oz and reducing to 10 oz after her 1St birthday.

The advice I got was 17-21oz formula until a year old although I notice my DD sometimes only takes 15oz so I think if they’re gaining weight it’s fine

My HV said similar to others, 17-20oz per day. I think 17 is what they try to ensure the minimum is (although my DS who is 9 months now prefers food to milk so it’s a struggle to get that much into him most days), as it contains vitamins etc. My HV also told me that he should be having healthy start vitamins if he’s not regularly having 17oz per day so we’ve started him on those too.

I would certainly say he's gaining weight as his name around the family is chunk 😂 I give him multivitamins every morning too
