Cleaning perfect prep

Hi, how do I clean perfect prep machine, looking online it says sterilising fluid, but not sure which one or what I get? Help appricated

Ah thanks what sterilising fluid do you use with yours

No fluid, just boiling water and make sure the filter is still doing its job. It'll tell you when it needs changing.
If the descaling light (the ! Calc light at the side of macine) has came on then you need to:

1. Remove filter
   
2. Fill tank with 0.5 littes of distilled white vinegar.
   
3. Put jug under the dispenser
   
4. Press the descale button for 2 seconds. It will keep flashing
   
5. At the end it will alarm and the light will go out
   
6. The cleaning mode will light up
   
7. Do the cleaning mode twice

I believe the instructions have changed post the mould issues some had. Now you should use a sterilising fluid

Milton tablets are the answer. Clean it at least once a month.

OK how and where do you put the Milton tablet and how

Dissolved in water then you take out filter and hopper. Poor water into machine i.e. do this when you're low on water in machine. Press the cleaning button for 2 seconds it'll take it through machine.

Repeat again with boiling water.

In the mean time take filter out of hopper touching only the top of filter. Wash the hopper, lid and bottle stand in hot soapy water and rinse and use dettol and cloth to clean outside of machine. Then replace hopper filter and fill machine with cold water.

Turn dial to 4oz and use machine as per normal but throw that first "bottle" away.

Then use as normal again.

Ah OK I have Wilkinsons sterilising solution, which is their own version of Milton liquid, can I use this in water, how do I use it this

I put half a Milton tablet though mine. I had chucked my instructions but there is a video on the TT website that shows you how to clean it with the tablet.

I cleaned it with hot water/ washing up liquid, then I sprayed it with milton and let it dry. All good.
