FRom people who've actually had children!

I am loving how much of a laugh i have with my teenager at the moment. We have exactly the same sense of humour-[is that because i raised him to find the same things funny?] and we just ROAR laughing at daft stuff.

The other thing is catching sight of them and thinking 'bloody hell you're a man' and feeling proud because they are so handsome and lovely

when they are tiny, it's cuddles with them on your shoulder and the side of their head resting on your cheek

days out at farms and parks and stuff watching them discover the world

and you?

My son who is nearly 5 adores me, I think it's a stage they go through where no one but mummy will do. I got in from work today and said I was tired. He put me to bed on the sofa, brought me a bear to cuddle and sat next to me, saying "are you napping now mummy?" He's just so cute- most of the time.
