Dreamfeeds???

Hi,

Just wanting some advice, my 9 week old son always has a bottle around 8-8:30 and then won't wake until between 11:30 and 00:30 for a bottle so I generally wait up till he wakes then give him a bottle and go to bed and he'll sleep till 6:30ish. However, I was advised to try dreamfeed at 11 so he doesn't actually wake and may sleep through all the way, I've tried this but he always wakes up and then gets fussy... This could be my fault as although I've tried not to wake him I feel I need to change him and so that wakes him... Do I need to change him for a dreamfeed if he doesn't have a dirty nappy, but may have a bit of a wet one? Sorry if this is obvious but first time mum and not sure if I'm defeating the object of dreamfeed by changing him! Thank you

Trial and error! I always change if dirty, sometimes I won't if just wee and not changed too long ago, otherwise I change first as gently as possible and then feed.
