DS is nearly 7months. He's fine going to bed at night but naps in the day are another thing. He screams bloody murder. Sometimes for up to an hour. I've tried leaving him for 5 minutes. Trying him in his cot, his swing (which he has grown out of) is the only thing he would nap in. I just don't know what to do anymore. Getting him down for a nap earlier took the best part of an hour and a half Sad I'm literally pulling my hair out and dreading everyday. He's a very demanding baby. Hates being left, won't play with anything unless I'm next to him. My other wasn't like this and I do t know where I'm going Wrong! Could it be a growth spurt? I've gave him teething granules today thinking it might be that but they didn't work (normally does) I did give him some calpol too just incase the teething granules didn't touch the spot and nothing.
I never get anything done and most days don't even get to have breakfast until later afternoon. If im lucky I'm exhausted Sad

My 4 month old is the same. Will he sleep in his pushchair? I should be losing weight with amount if walking I am doing. Could it be that his sleep pattern is changing and he is not quite ready to sleep when you out him down?

Won't sleep in his pushchair either. I feel you on the walking part! Lol. He's always been pretty consistent with his nap times and you can clearly tell he's absolutely knackered! He won't even let me rock him to sleep in my arms if I do that he just pinched my face pulls my hair (if it's not tied back!) and constantly tries to twist around and/or goes rigid!

I am sure you have already tried this but are you putting him down too late, not closing the blinds or are his clothes not comfy?

I have had 2 nap resisters. However neither could resist a sling. Pop them in, go about your day, they sleep and you had your hands free. DS was also a fiddler when tired (still is at 2yo) give him a Muslin while you rock/sling him to stop him pulling/pinching you. My 2yo still
Goes to bed with one every night.
