Bye bye dummy

So I took my 3 year old to the dentist today where the reality of her being a dummy fiend hit me (although I have limited it to bed time and in the car).
Her top and bottom teeth have a gap so was advised to get rid as soon as possible.

So tonight we say goodbye to the dummy.

Any tips? She's already said she will cry later when going to sleep 😢
Tell me your stories please; how easy/painful was it for you?

I would definitely try the "dummy tree" or "dummy fairy". either hang her dummies outside the door or put them in a box, and tell her that the dummy fairy will take them away and In return she'll get a little present, a little chocolate bar or an extra book at bedtime. there will be tears but soon they'll realise, you could also give her a toy instead. Hope it helps
