When the baby is a little older and the weather gets cooler, meet friends for soft play and a coffee. Local libraries run rhyme time sessions too. You don't need to spend much to make the days fun- we used to watch the trains at our station.

I agree it can be hard staying in all the time!
Me and my little one are starting baby sensory in September.
We also like playgroup.
With my first we also did a baby music class which was good fun.

When they're that small you can just do what you would do anyway, doesn't have to be baby-focuses. Go to galleries, museums, shopping, cinema (lots have baby-friendly screenings), whatever your interests are. Soon enough they'll be moaning 'muuuuuuuuum, that's borrrrrrring!' whenever you attempt to see an exhibition or whatever.

Unfortunately the main I like to do is go to the stables were I keep my horse but can be slightly stressful and impossible to ride if I don't drag someone with me to keep an eye on the baby..

We did Gymboree (sensory and soft play), rhyme time at local library, Mini Mozart. I'm not sure that DC got a huge amount from it but having an activity almost every day was a life-saver for me!

Yeah I need an activity to do every day, I end up going shopping buying any rubbish and spending all my money! Wink
