Multiple loose nappies a day, teething?

My DD (5.5months) has recently cut her first two teeth and for the last four days she has had many more dirty nappies than she would normally. They have also been looser and greener. She's starting pooing at night again but she hasn't done this since about 7 weeks. Is it teething that's causing the increase in dirty nappies? She woke up st 3am with a dirty nappy (she usually sleeps through) so I changed her. As soon as I had changed her she soiled another nappy and then 5 mins later soiled anothknf. So ended up changing her 3 times in less than 10mins - surely this can't be usual!?

She is EBF and hasn't stated on solids yet. She would normally soil 2 nappies a day.

Yes you are right this is common with teething. Are the poos very smelly? That would be a sign it's an infection.

Thanks StarPatch - No they don't smell any different to normal and DD seems happy in herself! She had a cold a few days ago but shook that off fairly quickly.

I always found with my kids that front teeth would give them a runny nose, back teeth would give them a runny bum. It's pretty common I think.
