I just discovered this book on amazon, and I'm interested to know if anyone has read it - or even come across the method? It seems to be a version of elimination communication.

Thinking about giving it a try.

I haven't read it but the author is on the EC UK Facebook group and lots of people there will have read it and will be able to give advice if you are interested.

In my experience MN is a bit sceptical about EC!

Hippy Dippy rubbish.

Rather like attachment parenting, co sleeping, and baby led weaning.

I'm not a hippy. But my son has only pooed in a nappy three times since he was 2 months old, he's six months now. And whilst he wets them he also pees on the toilet when I put him on it...

Also not a hippy (although we did blw and also co-slept for a bit as it was better than no sleep at all!). But part time potty use has got us to virtually dry and clean during the day at 20 months plus means a lot less stuff to take out with us day to day!

Glad it is working for you Portobelly

Read it and followed it very loosely. Not dealing with shitty nappies is great!
