which wipes do you use?

Ive tried a few and they all seem the same to me, though i am hugely sleep deprived!

Need to bulk buy some but dont know which. What do you use?

Cheeky wipes are amazing if you don't mind a tiny bit of extra washing. Really good at wiping up poo and no nasty chemicals, just a small amount of essential oils. They work out really cheap over the nappy-wearing period.
If we're away for the weekend I use Huggies. Cheap and cheerful at about 50p/pack if you buy the big box when they're on special offer.

Aldi ones are great and only 64p a pack. Everything else irritates ds skin.

We are using Water wipes. Essentially they are just tissue and water, no nasty chemicals. As DS is under three months we are playing it safe (as well as being lazy) as his older sister had a bout of baby eczema beginning around this age. Don't want to risk that again!!

I use pampers (the orange packets) or water wipes. If DD bum gets particularly red I switch to cotton wool and water until its better (occasionally her bum becomes very irritated when she's having looser poos).

Oh and we didn't start using baby wipes until she was about 4mo old- plain water and cotton wool before then (wipes in the changing bag for out and about though).

Huggies pure every time, I feel other brands leave an oily residue.

Washable wipes and water, or Huggies (in the green packet, have aloe vera or something).

Have tried essential oils and various other packet wet wipes, but ds gets a red bottom from them.

I was using the white packs of pampers sensitive but they are expensive so I have recently switched to aldi sensitive wipes and they do the same thing but are cheaper. They were on offer so got a box of 12 packs

Huggies pure, the other wipes I've tried (pampers, little angels) are quite thin and I prefer a bit of thickness between Poo and my fingers

Always go back to huggies. I like the thickness, seem to use less at changing time

Another vote for huggies here, they seem to rip quite easily compared to others but they're thicker and each wipe is the same level of wetness (unlike others which seem to get more and more dry towards the end of the pack). The Pure ones are lovely but we alternate between the cocoa butter and aloe vera ones now because they smell amazing and haven't irritated DS's skin

Huggies aloe vera (green pack). They really do keep nappy rash at bay - we switched to the 'pure' variety when the shop didn't have the aloe and the rash came back!

Although I quite like the peach coloured one with the moisturiser for wiping his face - just started solids so we get through a lot!

Johnsons - love the smell! Asda's little angels extra sensitive have been good too.

I've got 2 packs if Huggies Pure still to use but don't like them as I felt they were drier than other brands but I'm obviously in minority there.

Johnson's baby extra sensitive, subscribe and save with amazon £8.36 for 12 packs. Aldi wipes are good as well

Another vote for washable wipes - they are much more effective. You can clean a pooey bum with 1 or 2 wipes. I use them out and about too, but have Tesco sensitive for when I get behind on laundry. I like the lid on the packet.

I used to use Sainsburys sensitive. Hated Huggies. Never seemed to clean up the poo very easily IME.

I love the Aldi ones, they are so soft and less overpoweringly smelly than he pampers which were my previous favourite. Hate huggies, they don't seem flexible (?) enough to me.

Jackson Reece, they are eco wipes and the best wipes I have ever found. Just the right amount of wetness, slight soapiness (not actual soap) and perfect texture and thickness. I am evangelical about them!

Also use Huggies here, any variety. Hate the slimy feeling of other wipes and they are the only ones that don't seem to irritate ds's bottom. Used to use reusable wipes with my dds, but they just don't cut it with ds.
