I think keeping the area clean and dry should be enough for now, watch out for other areas like creases in the thighs and wrists and also their necks. Keep an eye on it and if it doesn't get better in the next day or so go to the docs.
That's what I used to do should work fine just do the same tonight. My DD used to get sore in her skin creases at her hip so keep an eye there too
