My ds loves fixing things, any ideas for a play tool kit for this age.

If youre happy to help him with it, then early learning centre do "built it construction" sets and they had another brand of plane one before Xmas too. They are expensive but often have half price sales on them and if you sign up to bday club you get 20% off voucher. Technically they are 3+ but my 2yr old DS likes them, just needs help lining things up but he tightens the nuts and bolts up.

Dd1 liked the Melissa and Doug toolkit at that age. She spent ages hammering in the nails then pulling them out again. She didn't manage the nuts and bolts until she was 3ish, though.

Another winner was the IKEA sandpit toys where you can make sand bricks and mortar them together.

I think it's 3+ but with some supervision he might like TapTap - I used to love it as a child. I bought it for a friends 2 year old son for Christmas. He loves it.
