At that age, DD had a breast feed on waking, no other bottles or cups of milk. Breakfast, hot lunch, light supper and two snacks a day. Slept 7-6, 45 min nap mid morning and 90 mins - 2 hours nap from 1pm

DD is 14 months. When not at work, life looks like this:

Wake up about 7. She has a quick bf first thing, then a weetabix in milk and a piece of fruit (satsuma or plum usually).

Late morning she might want a small snack, maybe share a banana with me.

Lunch is midday ish. She'll have a small jacket potato with cheese and beans, plus a yoghurt and some fruit, or a dairy lea sandwich (one slice of bread folded), with some cherry tomatoes and a yoghurt.

Mid-late afternoon she'll have a babybel and some more fruit, or a slice of fruit toast or malt loaf.

Dinner is at 6 ish, and she'll have whatever we're having - pasta, paella, lamb tagine ... Then something like a kiwi and a yoghurt.

Then bed at 7ish.

She drinks about one Tommee Tippee beaker of full fat cows milk and another of water throughout the day.

Does that help? She's a really good eater - I'm not sure we're typical.

Oh, and she naps 1-2.30 ish.

Dd is 13m and age still has 2 breastfeeds a night ( I sleep through because I co sleep and feed laying down!).
Morning (7am-8am) breakfast, toast or egg or cereal.
Then I let her snack on a piece of fruit.
She sleeps around 11-1/2pm with bottle of milk.
Lunch is a sandwich, or cheese pieces, or last nights left overs. Whatever I can be bothered with really.
Then tea after school run with her siblings or evening meal when her dad gets home. I don't force anything.
Milk again at around 7pm and bed.

She snacks on an apple or pear throughout the day and drinks water. She loves pears.

Milk morning and evening - she has breakfast at nursery, and I think by the time we have got up and out it is a long time to wait for food. The milk is 120ml milk + 60ml hot water.

Nursery forced her into one nap a day, after lunch. Until about 15mo when she was at home, she was napping for an hour at 10am and another hour at 3pm. Now she does 2-3 hours about 12.30ish.

At nursery, she has breakfast, fruit at 10am, cooked lunch at 11.30 and snack at 3.30. Then at home I give her some marmite toast or a banana before bed. If she hasn't been at nursery, I find she doesn't need a morning snack, and lunch is beans on toast type thing. I do a cooked dinner for us, so she has as much or as little of that as she wants.

Bedtime was 7pm sharp at 12mo but now she is 19mo is more like 8pm. Almost always have to wake her up at 8am on work days, on non work days she is bright as a button at 7am. Go figure.

My 15mo DD breastfeeds on demand (except when I'm at work a couple days a week, and I've more or less kinda night-weaned her)

She has breakfast, lunch, dinner, water or almond/soy milk in a cup a few times a day, bedtime 7.30ish usually, up for the day anywhere from 6.30-8. We cosleep. 2 short-ish naps at 10 am and 3ish or later, or one big one after lunch.

After I'd night weaned her she mostly slept through the night. She's had a horrendous cold so I'll let her feed in the night ATM but it's usually just once or twice, just roll over and pop a boob in kind of thing.

Come on, you can't feel like you're doing it wrong after reading that can you? Grin

13 month old here.

Generally up around half 6ish, has a cup of cows milk, followed by breakfast at 7ish. Morning tea around 9/9.30, lunch at 11.30, nap from 12/12.30 'till 2/2.30 (bliss!), afternoon tea when she gets up, dinner at 5, bath/milk/bed for 7.

Some days it goes tits up though and she's awake for 3-4 hours in the middle of the night which is great fun Hmm

Mine is a rubbish sleeper... Wakes anywhere between 0400 and 0530 comes in bed with us for a dozy bf. wakes for the day at 7, breakfast (wearability and fruit/toast) 0800. Bf 1030, maybe a snack (breadstick, baby corn crisps, rice cakes). 12 lunch - salmon sandwiches/stew/chicken, veg, potato/spag bol, then naps 1330ish till 1500ish. Bf and snack on waking, dinner (same sort of thing as lunch) at 5 and bed at 1930. Then proceeds to wake anything from 2-4 times in the night. I don't feed him, just cuddle but it's bloody annoying - as is the wake at 0430 thing. Grrrr.

DD is 19 months.

She wakes anytime between 6.15 and 8.30 normally. Goes to sleep between 6.30 and 7.30.

On waking she'll have breakfast of toast, cereal, pancakes, bagels or a combination of them.

If she's at nursery, she'll also have breakfast when she gets there normally. At nursery she'll have a morning snack, normally fruit. She doesn't tend to snack at home.

Nap time is between 11.30 and 1.30 normally but at nursery she'll eat lunch before her nap, but if at home it's when she wakes up.

Lunch can be anything from picnic stuff to a hot cooked meal.

At nursery, she'll have a snacky tea, but she'll also tend to have a bit of what we're having about 5.30 - 6ish.

She only drinks milk or water. I've pretty much stopped bf but she does still ask occasionally and I'll divert her if I can. If not she'll have a bf but I can't imagine she'll get much.

DD is nearly 14 months. Cup of milk when she wakes up at about 7.15am, breakfast at around 8 (weetabix, blueberries, Greek yoghurt).

Nap around 9.30- 10am for half an hour although think she is close to dropping it.

Lunch at 12, usually something like a wholemeal bagel with Philadelphia, a bit of chicken and some salad, a satsuma.

Nap 1.15- 2.30ish. Cup of milk when she wakes up.

Dinner at 5, something like bolognese or casserole (often stuck for ideas at dinner time!) with veg. Yoghurt after.

Bath at 6.45, bed at 7.30 with a bottle of milk (not tried dropping this bottle for a cup yet, too scared as her sleep is rubbish at the best of times!).

Not sure we're getting it right either so interested to see the responses.

14 month old DD has a breastfeed at 6:30 (wakes any time from 5 onwards), then breakfast around 8. At home she'll have porridge and fruit, at nursery it'll be toast and fruit. Lunch anywhere between 11:30 (nursery) and 12:30 (if we're out). If it's the latter, she'll often gave a fruit snack mid morning.

Nursery lunch is something like lamb hot pot or shepherds pie, followed by a fruit pot. Afternoon snack of cheese and fruit or crumpet and fruit at 3:30. Evening meal (5ish) will be snacky on nursery days (she often gets a packed tea of sandwich, cheese, yogurt and fruit as too tired to eat by the time she gets home). Non nursery days, I'll make her something like fish and potatoes, or leftovers of something we've had. Pudding is usually natural yogurt and fruit.

She still needs 2 naps and I can't see her dropping one any time soon, first at 9am when she'll sleep between 1 and 2 hours. Then another hour at about 2. She goes down for the night at 6:30 and will have another breastfeed then. She doesn't nap well at nursery, sometimes not at all, so is shattered by bedtime.

I'm keen to stop breastfeeding soon, so will be introducing cows milk in the morning and bedtime.

I have a 14 month old who goes to nursery three days a week. When not at nursery, he wakes up around 7.30 to 8am and has a 7oz bottle of cows milk (have been trying but he will not drink milk out of a cup!) He then has breakfast which is usually porridge. Mid morning snack 11ish and then lunch 12.30 ish followed by a nap of around an hour (we dropped the morning nap quite recently and this has been succesful as he doesn't fight daytime sleep as much as he used to!). Snack usually 2.30ish then dinner round about 5.30/6ish. Another bottle of cows milk 7pmish followed by bed. Usually sleeps the night unless ill/teething. Meals and snacks are accompanied by water in a cup. Nursery days are similar pattern but the timings are a bit different as he gets up earlier and has lunch and dinner earlier.

At 12 months it was
(all whole milk, and water offered at meals and snacks)

5am a drink of 150ml milk, very small snack
5.30 between half to one weetabix with milk
7.00 very small snack
8.00 porridge or yougurt and a sandwich
930 half a peice of fruit
11.00 hot lunch (e.g. salad, pasta and sauce type things)
Nap 1.5 to 2hrs
14.30 snack (normally lunch leftovers from yesterday)
1530 small snack
1700 hot dinner (e.g. couple of fish fingers, veg and pots)
1830 supper (e.g. weetabix, or porridge)
19.00 150ml milk, very small snack.
19.00/1930 bed

Now at 16 months his eating is a bit more normal in quantities!
5.00 150ml milk
8.00 breafast (as above)
9.30 a peice of fruit
11.00 hot lunch (e..g couple sausages, pots and salad)
Nap 1.5 to 2hrs
14.30 snack (as above)
17.00 hot dinner (as above)
18.00 supper (prorridge/weetabix if he ate all his dinner and seems hungry)
1845 150ml milk
19.00/1930 bed

Should say mine has always had a crazy apetitie (although he isn't overweight just bounce's around all the time), and it is commented on at nursery so I don't think this is a normal amount of food even now.

3pm-4:30 pm - nap

6:30 - pjs on, cup of milk then bed.

DS is almost 13 months and we're just now developing a 'routine'.

For the first about 8 month i breastfed on demand but from then he started only wanting it to get to sleep.

As of last Saturday I've started weaning him off of feeding to sleep, starting with the morning nap, so our day goes a bit like this;

He'll wake up somewhere between 8-9am.
Breakfast is usually cereal (he's gone off of toast) but on a Sunday we do pancakes.
He'll have a nap around 12.30 for 1.5 hours, I give him a cuddle on the rocking chair in his room and then put him down in his cot once he's dozey.
Lunch shortly after he wakes - at the moment he eats quite a large lunch due to his milk in a morning being gone.
He doesn't tend to take an evening nap anymore, unless we're out in which case he occasionally nods off in his pushchair but if we are home he still takes a small feed around 17.30.
Dinner is at 18.00 but right now he usually declines eating much more than fruit and a yogurt.
Bath after dinner, then bed. We co-sleep and he breastfeeds to sleep still, and he isn't night weaned yet so he wakes twice for a feed, usually around 2 and 6am.

My plan is that once he's used to his morning nap without the milk anymore I will remove his evening feed. Once he's used to that so begins the night weaning and sleeping in his own room.

Oh and during the day he has water or watered down oj to drink as well Smile
