I plan to have dd1 4 and dd2 2 baptized hopefully in next couple of months.
can I use the same set of godparents for joint baptism?
Can the baptism be on any any sunday or just the last sunday of month (im in scotland)

Do hubby and I have to take our birth and marriage certificates along?

Sorry for silly questions but I havent got close catholic relatives to ask

thankyou

When you can have it all depends on your parish priest . And yes you could have the same set of godparents or two sets of godparents it's up to you . Have you been in contact with a priest yet ? I'd just phone and ask for a meeting Smile

Hi op, i dont live in Scotland but you need to ring your parish priest. We had to do a baptism prep course. If you ing the priest and arrange to meet, they will help.

We were told to buy a baptismal candle and shawl. Also to bring a bottle to keep the child's baptism holy water. Priest did allthe paperwork so we jst wrote the prayers of the with full and chose readings.
