I wouldn't be surprised if you were just knackered Misdee. You've been dealing with enormous stress for a long time now.

Obviously didn't bother her, did it? Smile

she asked me why i put her in there and said she was too big.

Its called lack of sleep.
You dont want to know the things I have put where they shouldn't go needless to say they turn up when i am least expecting them--your daughter was safe and she got some sleep too.

i know that i sleep walk as well. i have woken up in different rooms asleep before now (sofa, spare bed etc) and that seems to increase when stressed. i also sleep talk.

I did that kind of thing all the time when dd was a baby and I was knackered and disorientated by the changes. You have every reason to be both.... sounds like you could really use a rest/break (probably a daft thing to say, as if you don't know that!) and wish I could help you get one.

Putting things in wrong places, that is, not sleep walking (as far as I know).

I nearly put my 3 year old in the moses basket the other night - on top of the 6 week old baby!Shock

It's stress, and tiredness.

I can add to this - have tried to put my 7 month old's pram shoes on MYSELF and have tried to put her pink hat on my 2 year old ds's head - he was rightly quite indignant. It is better now she's 9 months and has been sleeping through for 6 weeks......
