What do you do for childcare during school holidays?

ds is only 2 so have a bit to go before proper school. But am relocating back near (ish) gps. What do you do during school hols for childcare? Do you work flexitime? or gps? or are there clubs etc for kids to go to?
Am just trying to bear this in mind for how close I need to be to gps when I move home.

I have a nanny so i just booster her hours, last year was really hard work, my daughter was off for 9 weeks.
