11 month old sleeping too much?/

hi guys!! havent posted in months but felt I needed your advice on this one...my 11 month old ds has never been a good sleeper, has not slept through once since he's been born but is slowly getting better at just one wake in the night (which I can deal with)...what is worrying me is yesterday he napped for 3 hours in the morning...and slept last night from 6pm-9am with one wake up...i put him down at 11am this morning for his nap coz he appeared to be tired and he's still there after 3hours...is this normal? im worried there may be something causing him to be so tired and to sleep so much, it's not like him at all...he's fine in himself, bit clingy grumpy but nothing major....any ideas?
