12 month boosters and MMR given together, severe reaction (not an MMR debate)

12 month boosters given with the MMR jab, although red book states boosters at 12 months and MMR at 13 - 15 months. she was given jabs on wednesday and by thursday lunch was vomiting constantly until there was nothing left then she was retching. she couldnt even keep water down. early friday morning she started with a temp of 39.5 (and slept all day)which was consistent until early this morning (saturday)when she was able to keep water down, she has gradually been able to tolerate milk and a little food but has now developed extreame diarrhea to the extent that i am having to remove her nappy over the toilet as the contents is like a glass of water, if she lays down it just pours out all over her. she has visably lost weight and looks dreadful. The doctor says some children have these reactions to vacines but i cant help wondering if the extream reaction is due to overloading her with too many vacines all at once? incidently my friends son had the same reaction and is still unwell 3 weeks afetr his jabs......any thoughts

Thought: It could be a coincidence. Some children, laws of statistics, will be coming down with bad tummy bugs just about the same time they get their jabs.

I hope she feels better soon.

I don't know - I deliberately had them on different days as I was a bit worried. He did have a bit of a temp after the MMR and seemed a bit unwell but not too severe.

That a pretty severe reaction.
My DD has been poorly after MMR but not to the same extent.

Ragged I would think the same except for the fact that my friends son had the same reaction 3 weeks ago and they have not been in contact for her to catch anything from him either.
