I have thre children aged just 4, 2.5 and 6mth.

Really struggling to find the best way to combat bath and bedtime keeping all fairly happy thought it would jsut come in time but so far still feel like im winging it everynight!

Before number three arrived we had a mostlyl smooth running bedtime routine which now feels caotic!

I have 3 DC aged 7, 6 and just about turn 4. When the youngest was 6mths I managed to get in to routine (well most the time lol). Best way I found was to make sure they always new what to expect, so we would have tea at 5pm then a bit of TV or some quite play until 6.30pm. They all went in the bath together (and still do Smile) I had one of those seats that work from birth so the youngest could be the bath without me holding on.

They all shared a room at that point cause DH worked from home and the third room was an office. All got pjs together and then all to bed at the same time. I would read a story and then leave them to sleep. It worked well even the youngest got the hint after a week that this was time to sleep. The older two didn't seem to bother even if he woke they went right back to sleep.

I think if you stick with the same every night they know where they are up to and know what's expected. Just find the way that suits you and stick with it. xx Hope this helpsmxx
