I've just found the most gorgeous house just 12 miles from us - it's exactly the sort of house I'd love to buy, perfect size, nice garden, nice village absolutely stunning - but it's 850k

Hmm, I'll go straight to the bank manager tomorrow morning. Lully house! Saw a few the other week in the Evening Telegraph that were just lush!!!! Nice village setting too, mind you Oundle and the other little one's are nice places too. Bit better than Kettering lol

But what about the dash to the school

I'd forfeit the 'dash' to school to live in that house

Lady Lydz has a nice ring to it....

I don't know why I look at houses outside my price range, it only makes me spend too much money on lottery tickets!

Any other fabulous houses out there??

Only if you promise to invite any and all Mumsnetters to camp in your garden so they can bitch about you under a pseudonym the following year...

Too much gardening........ I'd ask for a bit of extra cash to employ a gardener too
