Fantastic Day out at the East of England Country Show.....

'spot' decision last night after seeing on the "BBC Look East" to go this afternoon. not cheap £26 for a family ticket (2 adults & 2 children). But we ALL had a great day, saw a little bit of 'nearly' everything and the boys (18 months and 4.5yrs) both loved it.

I know this should be in 'days out' - but seen as though the last day is tomorrow - and I wanted to make it a more 'chat' topic to say how wonderful a day (if hot) so 'other subjects' was about right

DH was really impressed as when he was out getting DS1's haircut this morning I managed to root around the cupboards and make up a really good picnic - sandwiches with ham, cheese, cucumber and lettuce, strawberry's, smoked sausage, cheese and cucumber, the last of the banana cake (homemade ), crisps, bananas etc etc - the only thing we needed to buy was some drinks for us
