I know the 60s were swinging, but I need to know specifically which of the two was 'groovy'.This is a very important question that may indeed save the world from impending doom.

Oh no - don't mess up my work, maaaan! That is like, so, totally not groovy!
But the hippy movement was mainstream from the Summer of Love (1967) until the birth of punk(1976), so therefore it was the seventies. Mostly.YABU.
Okay okay guys, let's not forget we're talking about looooove and peeeeeace and chilllllout, man.
