hi
me and dh are trying for another baby, but all the talk on mrsa is worrying me about giving birth in hospital. my dd was born by emergency c section, so i am not too sure if i will have to have another one or if i could have a home birth. i live an hour and half away from hospital so dont know if a home birth would be advisable. so i was wanting to know if i can check on a site about local hospitals and if they have had any mrsa in them.
thank you very much

i know there was a publication not so long ago which listed the mrsa rates in hospitals across the country, i remember which ones had the highest rates. there isalso a dr fosyter report on maternity hospitals which rates them for certain things, mrsa may be included, type dr foster into your search bar.

here is the web address, copy and paste this, www.drfoster.co.uk/home/birth2005. you then type the hospital you want info on in to the search bar and it brings up the info, hope it helps.
