Where to buy cheap toddler clothes on the net?

I used to do a lot of babyclothes shopping on the internet, but can't find anywhere to buy cheap 2-3YO clothes. All the toddler clothes sites I find are all designerwear, and what I'm really looking for is something like George at Asda, Tesco, Adams or Hennes, but none of them sell on the net (well, not that I can find, anyway!) - not even mothercare - they stop at 18 months. Any ideas anyone?

There isn't a lot is there? For colourful basics I quite like Snazzykids , but the range isn't huge. Ditto for Lads and Lasses . Otherwise there's the traditional mail-order catalogue companies who are all online now, and people like Boots/Tesco's sometimes have a small range of tehir clothing online, but that's about it.

What about La Redoute and Vertbaudet? They have catalogues but their range is also available on-line. Not too pricey, and a little different from High St. clothes.

Thanks everyone - I'll try all these out. I'm not too keen on Vertbaudet, though, since I had a bit of a run-in with them when I called up to ask them to send me a catalogue a year or so ago.

They wanted me to give all sorts of information over the phone as well as name and address, and said it was for a credit check. I explained that I didn't want credit from them - just a catalogue - and that if I wanted to order from the catalogue I'd be paying immediately. Do you know - they wouldn't send me the catalogue! I was really annoyed.

I think Tesco have discontinued their baby and toddler warehouse - which is a shame.

I agree it's difficult to find toddler clothes at high street prices. Here are a few suggestions, but prices are a bit higher (£7 or £8 for a basic T-shirt - except at M&S where it's £3):

Jane 101, and anyone else? I mailed Tesco this morning about why their clothes had been discontinued on the web and had a very prompt reply, unfortunately it wasn't what I wanted to hear. Apparently all the 'big things' they sold - people wanted to 'touch and feel' them first and that just left the clothes, which is not viable on a long term basis? - Eh hello, I'm sure it must be cheaper to buy/rent a huge store in every town and fill it with paid staff etc. - Welcome to the 21st century.

Griffy have you tried Argos Additions. MIL gave me the catalogue the other day and when I browsed through I was really impressed with the good value for toddlers clothes i.e two/three pairs of trousers for under a tenner etc. Not sure what the quality is like though but I'm going to be ordering some things for dd for "grotting" around in the garden.

Incidentally, in my browsing, I've spotted something that others may find interesting. When DS was a baby, I looked in Next a few times, but decided that, for a meany like me, it was needlessly expensive (why pay more than you have to for something that'll be grown out of in 3 months?).

But since DS needs 2-3 YO clothes now, most 'cheap' places have jumped up a price bracket (Tesco, H&M etc) to a sort of 2-8YO price bracket, whereas Next have a 0-4 price bracket, making their 2-3 YOclothes (at a glance) about the same price bracket as Tesco 2-3's.

In other words, I'm switching to Next for a year or two! Hope others find this of interest!

Furball - isn't it annoying? We order our groceries from Tesco on the internet, but they can't manage to deliver clothes that are sold on shelves next to the food that they pick up for us. Oh well.

Yes but Griffy you have to wait until they are two because for some reason Next do not have a 18-24 month size.

They claim that the other sizes (12-18 and 2-3) should be sufficient but this is clearly not the case IME.
