I'm not a single parent but dp is about to start a new job which means that he will be away from Monday-Friday only back for weekends. I'm pretty much dreading it, and would really appreciate any tips on coping on my own during the week. Ds is nearly 11 months and I've been lucky that I've had dp around for this long, but I'm really anxious about being on my own.

Thanks

Hello, single mum of three, 14, 9 and 6. Depending on what kind of day I've had, and what time of the month it is its either the best or the worst thing in the world!

I too am a single mum of two boys...one is 3 years & the youngest is 9 months. My becoming a single parent is still a recent change in situation so i may not be the best for advice but can sure sympathsise with its dilemmas!
