Can anyone remember an advert in the late 80's or early 90's where there is a little girl in a big city, possibly new york. She's just walking around the city, she looked about 4 and was wearing a traditional wool coat if I remember rightly. I remember seing the advert and thinking she was the cutest little girl ever. I'd love to know the name of the advert so I could watch it on utube. I can't remember what it was advertising though. If any of you remember it please let me know.

Was it a bank or insurance?

Was she in colour & the rest in black & white?

She had a red coat.

Car advert of some sort.

Yes I think so, like the little girl from schindelers list.

I thought of it the other day when my daughter was wearing her red wool traditional coat and with her long ringlets it made me think of the advert. It would be so interesting to see if they do look alike.

Oh I've just realised I spelt it with just one mistake. That is actually very good for me.

I've had a look and still can't find it. It's annoying.

Hi, I've found it. It wasn't the peugeot one. ( although she does look more like my daughter than this add.)

It's the 1988 VW passat add in NYC.
I's so sweet when she kicks her leg up.

Lol not obsessed with paxo - couldn't remember what it was for but I remembered the advert because it showed a chicken cinema with a film starring George Seagull and Gregory Peckory, oh how it made me chuckle .

However, whenever I desccribed the advert to other people they though I had made it all up. Ah but now they'll have to eat their words..mwahahaha!

It was a 1990 advert for the Volkswagen Passat. it's official title is God Bless the Child and it was directed by Tony Kaye, there are numerous versions on YouTube including one that is over a minute long
