How often do your kids sleep over at friends' houses or do you have them to sleep at yours? We seem to have had loads (of both) recently. I hardly ever got to do this as a kid. Am very jealous as they seem to have loads of fun

But seriously, my neighbour and SAHD did one recently for his 9 yr old DD and 5 of her friends and said it became a nightmare. He ordered 4 different kinds of pizza and 3 kinds of ice-cream thinking he had 'covered all the bases' and all was good until 1 kid said 'I hate this kind of pizza. Its the worst and it sucks'' The other girls of course all agreed, his daughter burst into tears and one girl who secretly liked the pizza ate loads and cried with stomache ache. Think the vodka idea sounds better or perhaps a large bottle of gin

have just gone upstairs to see if dd (aged 7) and friend are okay. They are running a bubble bath, playing dollies and dd has her cd player in bathroom and listening to The Strokes . Brings back memories of the chart rundown on sunday evening as a kid!

kama, I still haven't got pierced ears so I find it scarily cool when dd lets me 'borrow' her stick-ons! Not so desperate for the 'perfume' though
