I think there were several threads about it in the last weeks. I'm so confused that I don't even know what thread to choose .

Yep! I think Tridios if they've got a suitable account or co-op, both for ethical reasons.

they're actually all provided by one of 2 comapnies who run them on behalf of the other people- Family Investments, or The Children's Mutual.

ie, Barclays and Sainsburys are both run by Family Investments....

As far as I can tell you CAN'T put the voucher into a savings account. It is for a trust fund.
The only difference between the 2 base companies is how they invest your money, which in turn will determine how much you end up with.
This is unlikely to be very different between the 2 base places.

Mine is going direct to Family Investments because my brother works for them. That's the only thing I am basing my decision on!

Mine are going into Foreign and Colonial. DT2's godmother recommended them and that is the only reason for it.

That's the impression I got starlover, after many hours of looking into it, I've been looking into the different ones from Family investments, it's becoming a little clearer but it's still just sitting there and will do for some time to come I expect!

I've just sent ds2's voucher off to the CIS/Children's Mutual as they seemed to be the most ethical of the lot.
Though I think their definition of ethical varies quite a bit from mine.

My info pack took ages to arrive - about 2 weeks - and then I got 2 on the same day. Everything that's in the brochure is online here but I didn't find it until after I'd filled out the hard copy application form.

but there really isn't that much choice, because at the end of the day your money will be invested by either Family Investments or The Children's Mutual.

So, once you have decided which of those to pick that's it!

And if you choose Family Investments my brother stays in work!
They ought to pay me for advertising!!!
