A policeman once told me that poodles, the big ones, are actually much better police dogs than alsations, but they don't use them because no one would take them seriously. Maybe they'd be taken more seriously if they weren't pink. thats where they've been going wrong

Standard poodles, with sensible haircuts, are gorgeous dogs.

Oh, it could be - not that I have never noticed the smell (mind you my nose is not what it was!).

If I had one I would shampoo it with l'Oreal kids strawberry shampoo, I love it.

And a golden Dog Sherif star plate pinned to their chest.

I got a strawberry perfume for dogs in Spain, it smells like a lolly pop. Maybe the perfect complement for the self concious pink poodle?

My yorkies hate it BTW

JanH - my staffie gets shampooed in l'oreal kids shampoo! It's not strawberry though, think its cherry-almond for extra conditioning. She smells gorgeous.

Not a stetson with the navy hair dye, secur - a proper pc's helmet (and a truncheon tucked under one leg!)

Sorry pph, I'm sure your poodle is lovely. Please don't set the bodyguards on me.

ooooh what a lovely idea catwalk. I've got an extremely gorgeous hairy tibetan terrier - only trouble is he's a boy so BLUE might be better!!
