Dd does it already and she's only 2.3!

I have a hair 'raking' habit which people are always telling me about. I used to bite the skin on the indside of my cheeks until it got so sore and I always looked like I was pulling weird faces. I got rid of that one by replacing it with the hair 'raking'.

I think the trick is to stop immediately you find yourself doing it and you get kind of conscious of it. But it's a hard one.

Tell yourself you can only do it on certain days. Don't cut down too much to start. So say for instance you are not allowed to do it on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Keep cutting it down very slowly and you'll be fine. Give yourself a goal to work towards, perhaps so pampering?

Good luck. I stopped biting my nails by saying I could only bite certain ones and not others and have more or less stopped altogether.
