DH has just noticed that the badge on the back of his car has been ripped off It's a Nissan Almera so hardly a target of luxury and opulence!

We think it was done outside the house (a quietish cul-de-sac on a large estate) as the car simply hasn't BEEN anywhere else all week. SO fucking cross - we've both been putting so much effort into making everything nice and some mindless twunt decides to try a spot of vandalism. Might even be the same twunts that keep nicking our milk...

I know it's not big in the scheme of things, but I'd hate not to repair it but at the same time we really have better things to do with the money - and no guarantee they won't just do it again.

I know... ironically I'd have probably just written it off as "one of those things" had it happened in a carpark somewhere. Still would have been angry, but nowhere near as much.

Yeah i can understand that. It's somehow more personal when it's on your doorstep isn't it?

Someone wrenched off our car aerial the other night.

The next morning we received a cheque for a refund from our car insurance company as we have now moved, supposedly to a 'better' area!

The car was parked for nine years outside our previous home with no damage, we've been here two weeks. I don't think I'll bother telling the insurance company they might want their cheque back!
