Since yesterday I have felt completely tense and feel like I am going to burst (metaphorically). Had a headache last night at bedtime and took a couple of paracetamol then lay awake getting really agitated until 2.30am. Fell asleep and had horrid dream and woke at 3.30 feeling scared as I had done in my dream. Obviously then woke this morning completely knackered. Ive got myself really mithered about my potential unfair dismissal claim and really need to know how to relax. Help.......

Breathe in for a count of 7, then breathe out for a count of 11, keep doing this, it will be quite difficul at first, but it may help you to relax!

Jampots - if you've got a Waitrose near you, try their high melatonin milk. Its to help with sleeping and seems to work for me. Otherwise, a couple of Kalms at bedtime? Perhaps do a lot of walking in fresh air during the day to get really tired physically. Hope all works out for you.

And read an easy book in bed till you get sleepy.

I would suggest retiring to the bedroom with a saucy book and a rabbit

Beety made me say it.
