Can you claim it's research for something work related? Start a few threads asking for info related to your job

How much time would you estimate that you spend on MN per day while at work?

Thats my final excuse secur although they are winding me up saying they can see hours on site etc etc.....

Im gonna make the point that whilst others spend time emailing their friends I tend to use MN and therefore reason for not sending lots of personal emails...... As for how long do I spend?????? I constantly flick in and out all day!!! Luckily I think it's just a friendly warning at the moment. oooppppps

Northerner - most big companies could choose to look at their web use for any individual, if they chose I believe.

When I worked in the management team of a customer service type organisation (with 24 hr shift working etc) we would regularly get print outs of 'suspicious and prolonged use' of certain sites by certain individuals. Some of these were investigated (porn-related etc).
The report showed the url, and how long people were 'on' the site (although not all the pages visited....)

(In fact Galaxy used to work at the same place - and boy, let me tell you about HER surfing habits!!! )

(But I'd have to shoot you first.... )
