Any idea on how to use my photographes professionally?

So here's the deal... I LOVE to take pictures and most of them are pretty good if I dare say so myself . I was now wondering how to go upon actually getting some published/used so I 'stand to gain a wee profit'

Some of my pics have been published in 'coffee table issues' which got printed by picture.com and I do submit a photo every few months (that's all they'll let me . Actually made it into the finals last year, but wasn't willing to fork out to go to a photographers convention in the US for the priviledge that I might win the grand price iykwim. Also was 6 months preggers so not exactly feasible

oh and to see what kind of photos I have submitted so far have a look here if you are terribly bored

(you can tell I just can't be bothered to do the housework today ... a well dishes and hoovering is done, but don't feel like tackling the washing and ironing...

I think you may need to contact some of the photographic agencies that just submit loads of stuff each day to all the magazines. Don't know any of the agencies tho....

so far I;ve contacted one agency but they want a complete portfolio with 10,000 annotated pictures! I thought that was a tad ott

as I'm pretty much fed up with my life at the moment I'd appreciate some ideas on how I could turn my hobby into something more
