I would imagine that offline sources were more likely to be cited like the US magazines and the (few) UK ones

It would depend on the context though wouldn't it?

Did you see the article in the Fawcett society mag which mentioned Mumsnet?

As if feminism is about whether one 'can' go to lap-dancing clubs. Is not as bad as I remembered but I was apoplectic that the Obs Woman was yet again a huge spread of fashion and make-up.

Because there's nothing else that women want to read, right?
