I am concerned about my mum.
My sister has cancer. She's had surgery and will start chemo imminently. She will, in all probability, make a full recovery.
However I am rather concerned with how my mum is coping. I don't think she's cracking up exactly, but I would like to know if anyone has any advice on how I can support her. It must be the worst thing in the world seeing your own child going through this. Mum is generally a "coper", she's strong and she deals with things. She's not a great talker in the confiding sense.
Can I do anything to help her? I'm not close by and can't get to her for at least 3 weeks (school and work committments).
All advice, any experiences, to share?
