Living in Ramsey

I'm looking at moving to Ramsey, is it a good place to live?
I've read some dreadful reviews which is very off putting, but it looks nice and the houses look nice. I have two teenage boys and work as a freelance reflexologist. Would we be happy, or do the folk really have "webbed feet" as mentioned. Thanks
