but I can't find it in the search

FrannyandZooey Wed 24-May-06 21:53:33

Ah it was in chat

However it was much funnier than how you have written it

SoupDragon Sat 27-May-06 20:53:26

Found another one that makes me giggle:

Conception : any ideas what this could be

HAMSTER EMERGENCY

expatinscotland Sat 27-May-06 20:55:23

For some reason 'Can you keep a hare as a pet?' struck me as amazingly funny!

The OP had purchased what she thought - and what eventually turned out to be - a rabbit who looked very hare-like.

SoupDragon Sat 27-May-06 20:55:28

Yes! I love the hamster one too

Miaou Sat 27-May-06 21:05:53

"OMG!Dd has peed in her patent leather kickers!!!"

- which we all misread as "knickers" of course...

morningpaper Sat 27-May-06 21:05:54

I pmsl @ Conception : any ideas what this could be too

SoupDragon Sat 27-May-06 21:18:05

If only " yorkshire terrier....good with children??? " had been under "recipes" rather tha "pets"...

morningpaper Sat 27-May-06 21:22:51

lol yes

I had a vision of a small yorkie wearing a starched hat and a MATRON badge

expatinscotland Sat 27-May-06 21:24:46

'pirate sex?'

harpsichordcarrier Sat 27-May-06 21:41:46

"I never thought I would have to pmp for my rabbit"

SoupDragon Sat 03-Jun-06 20:09:03

" I want a rabbit, dh doesn't.... can anyone answer some questions?"

Sadly in the pet section though.

AllieBongo Sat 03-Jun-06 20:14:38

i quite like "20 mth old scary poo" why would you keep a turd for that long, flush it

Xavielli Sat 03-Jun-06 20:17:48

****URGENT******how do you get poo out of suede??

Images of lady treating suede like an atomic bomb, had me tittering

JanH Sat 03-Jun-06 20:19:50

This is not a MN one but talking of hamster emergencies, have you all seen Mike?

Excellent explanation for his survival from the general manager:

"Some of the material is shredded and then goes through a series of conveyor belts and grids that enable smaller pieces of waste to fall through.

"It seems that the hamster was small enough to pass through the blades of the shredder, but big enough to pass along the trammel without falling through an aperture.

"We don't get very much animal activity here, but we're delighted Mike survived."

lol at "animal activity"!
