My husband goes to band practice every month sometimes twice a month for 4 hours each time he has done without fail ever since our dd was two weeks I haven't had any time apart from her since she was born and she's now almost 2 is this fair? I was supposed to be going out with my friends this weekend it was planned months ago and then he decided to arrange the band practice for this date afterwards so I'm going to have to cancel 😔 feeling so annoyed with him as I haven't been out for 3 years is this fair of him? What should I do? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’d be reminding him in no uncertain terms that you’ve booked that night off for months and you’re not changing it so he’s better change his.
Put a calendar on the fridge so both of you can see what dc is doing and who is doing the caring when.
He barely goes out, so unless he’s unable to watch dc of an evening as he’s doing shift work or something you should make more time for yourself away from dc. It will be good for dc to stay with dad without you. You may have chosen not to go out without dc before now and that was your choice. But you can choose to go out a bit more now - you need a life too.

I agree don't cancel your plans let your partner sort out childcare.
