Hi
We are considering a move to Epsom in Surrey and wondered if anyone had any reccomendations for a nursery. There seem to be a few which look and read good from Ofsted but first hand experience is always best!
Thank you
Niamh

Hi. I know of people with kids in Bright New Minds (town centre) and Cherryfields (slightly further out) both of them are happy with the nursery. Cherryfields is really new and shiny - I looked at it and was going to send dd there but opted for CM instead. Good luck - Epsom's lovely!!

Thank you that's really helpful. The house we like is in Victoria Place and there is a nursery called Teddies across the road? I presume you live In Epsom, are there good parks and playgrounds for little ones? My little boy is 17 months.....I am a bit worried about schools though, know he is a way off but that's why we are moving, not sure if we are in a good catchment area?!?! We seem to be about 0.5 mile from Epsom primary which doesn't look good and the same distance from Wallace Fields which looks excellent but guessing competition will be tough. We are also RC and St Josephs looks good...
Thanks
N

I live just up the road from Victoria Place and there are 2 good parks within 10 mins walk (Alexandra Park and Rosebery Park).

Not got my son in a nursery yet as I'm a SAHM at the mo but do know that the Cherryfields and Cherrystone in Stoneleigh are recommended by friends.

I want my DS to go to Wallace Fields when he's school age but you're right, lots of competition

Good luck with house! Epsom is lovely...nice people live here too

We liked Cherryfields, tho we ended up using a state pre-school as I left work. Wallace fields is excellent, but you have to apply again for juniors after infants, so it's a lottery twice.

Epsom Primary is ever improving; DD's just done a month there in reception and we were very impressed. She's now at Stamford Green cos we are moving house and EP would be a drive and SG is walkable.

There are loads of parks and playgrounds around, and the Downs are a five minute drive away.
